Augustus, with Agrippa, 27 BC-AD 14. As (Bronze, 24 mm, 12.32 g, 12 h), Nemausus, circa 10 BC-AD 10. IMP DIVI F Heads of Agrippa to left, wearing combined rostral crown and laurel wreath, and of Augustus to right, wearing oak wreath, back to back. Rev. COL NEM Palm tree, top bent to right with a wreath above, with chained crocodile behind. Cohen 10. RIC 158. RPC 524. A beautiful example with a magnificent enamel-like glossy green patina and attractive earthen highlights. The reverse somewhat weakly struck, otherwise, very fine.
